null PROFESSIONAL CONSULTATION WITH THE MTVA'S SENIOR STAFF RESPONSIBLE FOR NATIONALITY CONTENT
The situation of the nationality content of public media services and the monitoring of developments in this area are central themes in the work of the Minority Ombudsman. An essential part of this is to maintain contact with the consumers of the content, i.e. the nationalities, as well as with the producers of the content, the relevant managers and staff of MTVA (Media Services and Support Trust Fund).
In view of the above, the Minority Ombudsman initiated an annual opening discussion with István Galambos, Director General for Programs of the MTVA, and Kolos Andrónyi, Head of the Editorial Office for Nationalities and Hungarians Abroad, who were pleased to accept the invitation.
During the constructive and open meeting, they focused on the staff and infrastructural conditions of the production of nationality content, the planned directions for development, the possibilities of training a new generation of nationality content producers and discussed further forms of cooperation.
