null Commissioner for Fundamental Rights Pays Visit to Beregsurány Border Crossing Point

On 11 March 2022, Ombudsman Dr. Ákos Kozma paid a visit to the border crossing point between Beregsurány and Astey, Ukraine with OCFR Director for Police Complaints Dr. Domonkos Wildner.

Dr. Ákos Kozma was informed about the current situation at the Hungarian-Ukrainian border, the measures taken to speed up border crossing, the circumstances of the reception of refugees arriving from Ukraine in Hungary through Beregsurány, and the experience gathered by the staff on duty at the border so far.
