null Commissioner for Fundamental Rights Visits Heves County Remand Prison

Dr. Ákos Kozma and his staff members conducted an on-site inspection at the Heves County Remand Prison in the framework of the Optional Protocol to the Convention Against Torture (OPCAT) National Preventive Mechanism (NPM) on 12 October 2023. The Ombudsman was received by Prison Brigadier General, Commander of agglomeration area No. 4 Mr. László Nagy and Prison Lieutenant Colonel, Prison Governor Mr. Tamás Molnár.



During the visit, the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights was informed in detail, among others, on the operation of the institution with a capacity of 143.
The Ombudsman will draw up a report about the visit.
